Top Accountancy Prize
Jeff Cheung of Leftley Rowe and Company based in Harrow, has won the ICAEW Knox Prize for his performance in the 2008 Professional exams.
Jeff finished top of the class for the financial reporting paper. The prizes were announced in the Financial Times (24th July 2008). We are very proud of Jeff’s achievement as he outshone many candidates from larger firms.
Jeff said: “It was a big surprise as I found the exam very time pressured and extremely hard. I only hoped to pass. To win first place was amazing!”
The Knox prize is awarded to the candidate who scored the highest mark in financial reporting, competing with other candidates worldwide.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) is one of the longest established professional accounting bodies in the UK and awards are published for those candidates that obtain the highest marks.
